Leading to a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, the Criminal Justice program at Seton Hall University can lead to variety careers related to crime and justice. The program combines Criminology and Criminal Justice to provide a comprehensive major designed to give students a broad understanding of the causes and consequences of crime, and the workings of the criminal justice system. The curriculum is complemented with a focus on real-world application and the pursuit of internships offered in federal, state, and municipal agencies. Graduates of the program may pursue professional careers in law enforcement, courts, corrections, or victim services, or pursue advanced education with graduate or professional degrees.
Program Requirements
In addition to fulfilling the core and credit requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences, Criminal Justice majors must complete a 36-credit hour curriculum, which consists of 18 credit hours of required courses and 18 credit hours of elective courses.
