The Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing - Secondary Teaching (CEAS - Secondary) is an intensive blended option designed for non-matriculated candidates seeking Secondary-level teacher certification.
The CEAS - Secondary non-matriculated curriculum is approximately a year in length and combines online course learning, field experience and a culminating Clinical Practice experience. Candidates receive individual advisement throughout their studies and upon completion will be qualified for nomination to the NJ Department of Education as a secondary teacher.

Application Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants are required to submit the following materials:
- Online application and application fee
- Resume/Curriculum vitae
- Personal statement (up to 550 words, about two pages)
- Official transcript(s) from all institutions attended, reflective of at least 15-30 credits in a specialized field
- Official score report indicating passing score on the Praxis II exam

The program operates on a rolling admissions schedule where students begin their studies in the Spring semester.
