The Classical Culture minor provides students with a deeper understanding of European history, democracy, philosophy, and science. Students explore important advances in art, law, poetry, and architecture through study of the history, material culture, and literature of Ancient Greece and Rome. The courses consider religion, philosophy, mythology, politics, history, drama and film, art and architecture, and ideas about class, race, and gender.
