From online education to augmented reality, information technologies are creating exciting and far-reaching changes in our lives. How will you respond to the opportunities and dilemmas they present today and in the future?
The undergraduate-level Certificate in Information Technologies is open to all undergraduate students and helps students establish a base of knowledge that will enable them to live and work effectively in today’s knowledge-oriented society. Throughout the coursework, students will discover the basic concepts behind a wide range of information technologies and the powerful impact they have on our lives. Students will become actively involved in the intelligent utilization of a variety of information systems and digital resources to improve productivity, make decisions, pursue research interests, produce multimedia presentations and enhance learning.
Curriculum Requirements
Students pursuing the undergraduate-level certificate in Information Technologies must complete 15 credits in the discipline as articulated below and in consultation with an academic advisor.
