The Minor in Music offers many options for students with a passion for music. Whether you are a performer, sound designer, or someone without prior music experience who is passionate about the place of music in our world, you can tailor the Music Minor curriculum to make a path of study suited to you. Students pursuing the Music Minor can select one of two areas of focus: Applied Music or Music Exploration.
Curriculum Requirements
Students pursuing a minor in Music may choose from two curricular options. Each option requires the completion of 15 credits in the discipline as articulated below and in consultation with an academic advisor.
