The Visual and Sound Media minor is for students who want to blend technical prowess with creative storytelling. While a major provides the deep-dive expertise in a primary field, this minor adds a layer of digital literacy and sensory communication that is increasingly vital in a screen-dominated world. Students can choose to focus their minor in film, radio or television.

Curriculum Requirements

Students pursuing a minor in Visual and Sound Media must complete 18 credits in the discipline as articulated below and in consultation with an academic advisor.
