With the increase in readily accessible business data, the goal of understanding that data and using it to make better decisions is imperative. Moreover, the continued decrease in the cost of computing allows companies of all sizes to cost-justify at least the hardware component of using data to drive decisions. However, not all business practitioners know how to properly analyze and interpret data.
The major in Business Analytics will educate students to understand the concepts of business analytics and their application to business problems.
