In a world that is reliant on Information Technology (IT) to operate, understanding and being able to use IT tools is incredibly important. The certificate in ITM provides a path for students who have concentrations in other areas to obtain the skills to apply IT to business problems.
Increasingly, companies are looking for all their employees to be able to use IT tools in their job function from day one. A certificate in IT provides an academic credential that demonstrates that you possess these skills.
The Certificate in Information Technology Management is a four-course (12-credit) sequence that consists of:

A student who wishes to earn the Certificate in ITM should consult with the Department Chair or Adviser for the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences to ensure that the two BITM elective courses selected are in line with the student’s academic/career objectives. All four courses taken must be completed with a grade of C or better.
