From the Interim President

Dear Setonians,

I look forward to beginning our journey together in the 2023-24 Academic Year. As we continue to prepare, this course catalogue serves as an invaluable tool. It contains vital information and a multitude of academic options that are the building blocks of a successful year.

On these pages, you will find rigorous courses in your chosen field of study and opportunities to develop yourself as a servant leader. This includes taking courses outside your discipline through electives, minors and the University’s many certificate programs. These options support and reflect Seton Hall’s goal of fostering each person’s intellectual, ethical and spiritual development.

The offerings in this guide are brought to life by faculty members who are renowned international scholars and experts in their fields. They serve not only as academic guides and teachers, but also mentors who infuse their instruction with empathy and a spirit of shared exploration. They have your best interests at heart and are eager to see you succeed.

In the coming year, I hope you will make strides in pursuing your degree and find a place for yourself in Seton Hall’s richly diverse academic culture. Each Setonian brings a strong voice, unique perspective and personalized viewpoints to discussions and interactions, as we engage with some of the most pressing issues of our time.

I hope you are ready to immerse yourself in these swiftly moving intellectual currents. Persistent effort on your part will yield an education that will serve you well for the rest of your life. It all starts with the courses in this guide.

Have a great year.
