The Certificate in Global Affairs requires the completion of four courses for the total of 12 credits. There is one required course (DIPL 1711 International Relations) and two different paths to completion. One requires completion of one course from each of the three specialized areas from the Diplomacy undergraduate baskets. A second option requires the student to complete three classes in one of the specialized areas.
Students who major or minor in Diplomacy & International Relations are not eligible. Non-Diplomacy majors/minors will find this Certificate complements other campus majors, whether students are seeking careers in public, private or non- profit sectors.
The Certificate is only available to degree seeking students. Students must have completed 30 undergraduate credits prior to enrolling. All courses must be completed with a 2.5 GPA or better for Certificate eligibility.
