Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy

Anthony D. Bellucci, M.B.A., Associate Vice President, Alumni Engagement & Philanthropy

The Department of Alumni Engagement & Philanthropy, with a constituency of more than 105,000 alumni, is responsible for strengthening the frequency and quality of alumni engagement by inspiring alumni to become connected and engaged with Seton Hall, and to ultimately make an investment in the university.

Alumni Engagement includes activities that are valued by alumni, build enduring and mutually beneficial relationships, inspire loyalty and financial support, strengthen the university’s reputation and involve alumni in meaningful activities to advance our mission. Alumni Engagement is advised by a Board of Directors which is composed of members representing various alumni constituencies. The board is responsible for supporting the development of activities designed to engage alumni in the University.

This engagement fosters an environment that encourages Seton Hall alumni to be proud proponents of and consistent supporters of their alma mater and fellow alumni. All individuals who have received degrees from Seton Hall University are welcome to participate in these activities and programs.

Alumni Engagement consists of four primary categories:

  • Volunteerism – Formally defined and rewarding volunteer roles
  • Experiences – Meaningful events that connect and inspire alumni and celebrate alumni and Seton Hall’s achievements
  • Philanthropy – Diverse opportunities for alumni to make philanthropic investments that are meaningful to the donor and institution
  • Communication – Interactive, meaningful and informative communication with alumni
