Concentration in Management
Managers make a difference in determining organizational outcomes through planning, organizing, leading and controlling human and material resources. The major in management is designed to present to students the theories and practices of management and to encourage flexible learning practice in managerial skills and ethical business dealings.
To be better prepared for business careers, management major students are required to take an internship placement. These credits will count as general electives.
Alpha Sigma Omega
Alpha Sigma Omega, the Stillman School’s Management Honor Society, invites qualified management majors to join during their junior or senior years. The members will have completed 60 credits, have an average GPA of at least 3.25, with a 3.5 in their major courses. Transfer students will have completed 60 credits and are required to complete one full semester at the Stillman School before admittance.
