Secondary Major (B.A.)

The department also offers secondary majors in French, Italian, or Spanish. Students in each of the secondary majors are required to complete 36 credits in courses above the elementary level. (The requirements for a secondary major in modern languages are the same as for the primary major, 42 credits in courses above the elementary level).

The sequence of courses for a secondary major in French, Italian or Spanish is as follows:

Intermediate I-II (courses numbered 2001-2002)6
