A UX Designer is responsible for how someone feels when using a digital interface. Through research and studying user behavior, they take into consideration the emotional and functional needs of the user to design experiences that are usable, desirable, and enjoyable. A UI Designer creates the visuals and style of the interface, such as typography, color, imagery, and layout.
The Undergraduate User Experience & Interface Design (UX/UI) Certificate combines both disciplines to provide students with marketable and practical skills as they enter the workforce. Students will learn to create accessible and inclusive products that provide people with access to information and services. Courses are studio-based with students learning to design mobile apps, websites, digital environments, and wearables.
