BPOL - Business Policy (BPOL)

BPOL 3000  Business Case Competition  (1 Credit)  

Students will participate in a business case competition that will require them to develop and present strategic recommendations for a hypothetical business organization. Participation in the course/competition will require that students draw upon their business discipline knowledge and employ critical thinking and effective presentation skills. 1 credit

BPOL 5000  Business Policy  (3 Credits)  

Students are organized as a top management team to run a computer simulated business enterprise in a competitive environment. Employing business strategies and models, they integrate the functional knowledge from prior courses and exercise their business skills. Offered: Fall, Spring.

Prerequisites: BACC 2103 with a minimum grade of D and BACC 2104 with a minimum grade of D and BFIN 2201 with a minimum grade of D and BLAW 2301 with a minimum grade of D and (BMIS 2701 with a minimum grade of D or BITM 2701 with a minimum grade of D) and BMGT 2501 with a minimum grade of D and BMGT 2503 with a minimum grade of D and BMKT 2601 with a minimum grade of D and (BQUA 2811 with a minimum grade of D or MATH 1101 with a minimum grade of D or MATH 1203 with a minimum grade of D or MATH 2111 with a minimum grade of D or MATH 2711 with a minimum grade of D) and BQUA 2812 with a minimum grade of D and ECON 1402 with a minimum grade of D and ECON 1403 with a minimum grade of D and ECON 2408 with a minimum grade of D
